Sean Dyche confirms Jay Rodriguez club is back in training and is in line to return from injury in time to face West Brom in the Premier League. The striker has overcome an ankle problem sustained in the Carabao Cup success at Millwall and is in line to face his former club. Sean Dyche is optimistic he can return to the squad for the trip to the Hawthorns and the two week break from Premier League action will also benefit James Tarkowski and Ashley Barnes with the pair just back from injury and having featured in the first time in the Premier League at Newcastle last time out.

"It will have done a few of them good to have a break because we have been able to get some good work in, particularly this week," said Dyche.

“As long as the next few days go okay, Jay-Rod should be okay.”

“Things are looking slightly better and the players are looking fitter we have got some work into them.”

"This has actually worked this Monday game because having had extra days where we can push players slightly harder to increase their fitness." He added.
